About the UMAAA Board of Directors

The Alumni Association seeks passionate, service-oriented alumni willing to commit their time and expertise to engage alumni and students as a member of our Board of Directors

We are committed to creating a nominee pool that represents the diversity of our alumni family and actively strive to achieve inclusivity in terms of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status, class year, past or present military service, type of degree, geography, profession, and UMass affiliation.

Board members work to engage alumni and students through a variety of outreach, programming, advocacy, and volunteer opportunities in support of university priorities. In accepting a seat on the Board, directors pledge to actively participate as alumni leaders, fulfill all board member responsibilities, and adhere to the Volunteer Code of Conduct.

Through their service, our directors are able to advance the interests of fellow alumni, support current students, contribute their expertise, and expand their own professional networks, while giving back to their alma mater.
