Meet Alumni Association President,
Michelle-Kim Cohen ’03

Michelle-Kim Cohen is Deputy General Counsel of Cambium Learning Group, a K-12 education technology company. She has been practicing law for nearly two decades with a focus on employment law, corporate compliance, business litigation and contracts management. Michelle has been a speaker and panelist at the Association of Corporate Counsel, Harvard Kennedy School and University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Michelle is a proud University of Massachusetts Amherst alumna from the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Commonwealth College. She has served on the UMass Amherst Alumni Association for almost a decade before being elected to President. Michelle also is an Advisory Board Member of SBS RISE (remedying inequity through student engagement) program, co-chair of the Accelerate Campaign on Alumni Engagement and ex officio member of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation Board of Directors.

Michelle lives outside of Boston with her husband, school-aged son and two Boston terrier dogs.
